I am typing this with the Wordpress app for iPhones and iPod touches. It seems to work better if held horizontally to type. Typing is not to bad that way. It is still way slower than typing with a regular keyboard, but the predictive text feature seems to work very well. It would be nice to have a more tactile feel, maybe like they keyboard of a Blackberry but I am pretty happy with this.

It is good enough to say that the Tazewell Farmer’s Market is open. What is good this week? The beets and snap peas. There’s not much there yet as it is still early on the season. There are also some small onions, mustard greens, and fresh herbs. If were going to fox some mexican food in the next couple of days I would have picked up the cilantro. I did buy the beets. They were the perfect side to the chicken and dumplings that Bethany made. Well, actually I’ve only fixed the greens. I sauted some I onions, two pressed garlic cloves and some curry. I then threw in the beet greens and a little rice wine vinegar for about ten minutes. Delicious.

I am going to try out a wiki for my Linux 241 class. Hopefully it will be a place for me to provide extra help and to clarify information. I have a long way to go with it, but so far so good.

The wiki I am using is pmWiki. It had the password protection feature that I wanted to prevent vandalism and the installation seemed simple enough. It was indeed very easy to install. Even so, there is plenty to play around with in the configuration file. I’ve edited the Blue Berry skin slightly for the wiki.

If anyone has any suggests for the wiki be sure to let me know, or if you have access to edit the wiki, go ahead. It would make my day.
